What is God calling YOU to do? If you want to explore any of these or other
possibilities, call Pastor Rick @ 650-323-8544. Opportunities that currently exist:
First Touch Ministry -The first person an unchurched person meets
when they visit sets the tone for their experience. The First Touch Minister has a very important
role in helping visitors feel the love and care of Christ in a practical way.
Hospitality Ministry - It is important that visitors and regular attendees be offered assistance
if needed and helped to feel comfortable and wanted. The Hospitality Minister plays
a big part in making sure each person feels welcome.
Levite Ministry- Most people, churched or unchurched, make deep first impressions by what they
see of the church facilities and grounds. Improving and maintaining the resources with which
God is blessing, is a very important role. Levite Ministers perform odd jobs and do handyperson
work around the church facility and are essential in our being good stewards with what God
has given us.
Fellowship Ministry- Fellowship is very important in fostering meaningful
relationships. People don't want friendly churches, they want friends.
Times of fellowship promote the opportunity for people to connect
with each other and for friendships to begin to grow. The Fellowship
Minister is a treasured servant in God's plan.
Praise and Worship Ministry- Singers, Instrumentalists, and Audio
Visual Technicians are essential in leading a service of praise to
the Lord. Ministers gifted in these areas lead the "Body of Christ"
into heartfelt worship. Soloists and groups
are welcomed regularly for special music in the Sunday worship
service.
Teaching Ministry - God uses teachers with all ages, children to adult,
to bring nourishment, direction and maturity to the "Body of Christ."
Teachers are key to discipleship. Jesus, in the Great Commission,
said; "Go, and make disciples ... teaching them to obey all my
commands..."
Drama Ministry - Drama, as music, can break down barriers that sermons
and bible studies cannot penetrate. Drama is used as an outreach and
assimilation tool in building the "Body of Christ." There are many
opportunities either "on stage" or "behind the scenes." There is a special choir assembled
for the fun filled Christmas musical drama. See our Drama page

Children's Ministry - Opportunities for children's ministry abound.
Our community is filled with children that need to be reached and ministered to
with the love of Christ.
Outreach Ministry - Outreach ministers are front line ministers,
helping to plan, organize and execute
effective outreach to unchurched people in the Silicon Valley.
Promotion of special events is a key need.
